Originally from Colombia, I currently reside and work in Vienna, Austria. After completing two years of artistic training in the Fine Arts Undergraduate Program at the University of Antioquia in Medellin, Colombia, I relocated to Linz, Austria, where I successfully completed the diploma program in Fine Arts with a focus on Sculpture – Transmedial Space at the University of Arts Linz.

Following my graduation in 2008, I spent four enriching years in the United States, during which I had the privilege of being represented as an artist by the Hamiltonian Gallery in Washington, D.C. Simultaneously, I took on the role of an art teacher at the German School Washington.

In 2023, I expanded my academic journey by obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Art Education from the University of Applied Arts in Vienna. Beyond my academic pursuits, I cherish my role as the proud mother of two children, born in 2015 and 2017.

I am currently dedicated to my role as an art and design educator at High School Schwechat, passionately shaping young minds. Simultaneously, I am actively involved in continuous artistic research in the domains of painting and graphics.

Embarking on artistic exploration, I employ a diverse array of media—everyday objects, light, wood, and various materials—to craft immersive and distinctive experiences. These often include interactive elements, encouraging viewers to actively engage in the creative process. Moreover, I consistently integrate social and ecological aspects into my projects, fostering awareness of sustainable practices. My paintings, sculptures, and installations are meticulously crafted to not only stimulate the senses but also challenge perceptions of space. Seeking to be more than aesthetically pleasing, my work serves as a catalyst for contemplation on nature and the human experience.

From OHO Offenes Haus in Oberwart, Niederösterreich, Austria, to the Art Museum of the Americas in DC, USA, my artistic endeavors have garnered global recognition
