A spinning, circular metal structure rests on the floor.
At the edge of the circle, a clay sphere is attached and set into motion by pushing a metal rod. As visitors activate the structure and move around it, the clay ball is gradually ground down by sharp metal edges.
Movement, use, material resistance, and chance determine the evolving state of the work.
What becomes visible is a cycle of action, erosion, and accumulation, in which time, labor, and material are inseparably linked.
